Error correction

I created the padlet as I'd taught a lesson on error correction on the CELTA course and wanted to see how much the trainees remembered. It was a good way to share ideas and make them instantly viewable. click here to see the review questions This audioboo reflects what teachers think about problems with correcting learners' errors.

Random Name Generator

I put this together because I wanted to try out a new tool for checking learning. I liked the idea of the random name generator because it was quick to prepare and easy to use in class.

kolb

The utube clip is a good introduction to Kolb's learning styles. Trainees can watch it and compare what they know already about learning styles.

ken robinson

This is an interesting clip with Ken talking about a range of issues relating to creativity in schools. I used it with a PGCE class to lead into a lesson on how we learn and how to optimise the conditions for learning.
